The UltraQuiet cabin is a tonal Active Noise and Vibration Control system for quieting cabins of turboprop and rear engined jet aircraft. With over 400 systems in revenue service the UltraQuiet cabin has become the industry standard solution to cabin noise and vibration. Standard platforms include the entire range of Bombardier Q Series Dash 8 aircraft, the SAAB340Bplus, SAAB2000 and Raytheon Beech King Air 350. The system is optional on the Bombardier Challenger business jet, Raytheon Beech 1900D, Raytheon Beech King Air 90, 200, 300 and the Twin Commander.
The UltraQuiet cabin system conveniently concealed behind the aircraft trim produces "anti-noise" a mirror image of the unwanted aircraft noise resulting in destructive interference. Interior noise levels are thus substantially reduced, providing a more pleasant environment for passengers.

The sonogram (a graphical representation of sound) above shows sound levels within the aircraft while in flight.
Blues and greens represent lower levels, oranges and reds are higher.
With the UltraQuiet balancer, out-of-balance information is
freely available as soon as the aircraft is on the ground. Operators no longer have
to schedule dedicated and costly non-revenue flights to gather
propeller out-of-balance data.

The UltraQuiet balancer is an on-board propeller balancing system.
Out of balance propellers are not only a nuisance to passengers in
terms of vibration, but also to maintenance crews who repair or
replace equipment damaged by continual vibration.
